Alexandra Daskalopoulos is a journalist, legal researcher and longtime aficionado of true crime stories. She earned a bachelor’s in political science at Illinois Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Journalism at DePaul University where she was hand-picked as a production assistant for Carol Marin’s exclusive advanced reporting class. Ally “discovered” the Carol Rofstad case as part of an investigative reporting assignment for Chris Bury, former ABC News Nightline reporter and DePaul professor. Ally has extensive training and knowledge of the court system, and has worked on both the prosecution and defense side of the law. She has a particular heart for this case, having served as president of her college sorority.
George Seibel earned his bonafides at what he calls the University of Bloodshed, patrolling the tough streets of Chicago from 1969-1981. Within 2 weeks of joining the force, he earned a handful of commendations for his uncanny detective work. George went on to teach all aspects of cold case investigation, establishing the Institute for Cold Case Solutions at Morton College in 2001 . He holds a BA from Lewis University (1976) MA Lewis University (1978) completed post graduate studies at University of Illinois Chicago and was ABD Visiting Scholar at New Mexico State University.
George has authored 4 books. Insider's Guide to Policing: What You Need to Know About Becoming a Cop; Violent Crimes Investigation: Cases and Materials; Enlightened Police Questioning, Interviewing, Investigation, and Interrogation; and, Cold Case Investigation: Cases and Materials. He is also a baseball savant.
Demetria Kalodimos is a trusted voice in Middle Tennessee.
She has anchored and reported the news for more than 40 years and has won some of the top awards in broadcast journalism including 16 Emmys, 3 Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) National awards and 3 Edward R. Murrow Awards for investigative reporting.
She was named Tennessee Broadcaster of the Year in 1995 and was inducted into the Tennessee Journalism Hall of Fame in 2016.
Demetria holds a Masters in Journalism from the University of Illinois and both a Bachelor of Music Education and Honorary Doctorate from Illinois Wesleyan University.
In addition to podcast production, she creates award winning documentaries, music videos and other visual content through her company Genuine Human Productions. She was named 2021 Professional in Residence at Lipscomb University School of Communication.
